need help got another computer

    I bought a used dell computer I regestered it with microsoft ,got my dail up internet started, but I think it has been completely cleaned out i have no sound,maybe missing sound card no mixer nothing,I have no recovery disks,I do not know anything as you well know as much as I depend on you guys.i do not know what to do it has no adobe no nothing how do I get it up and running?hoe do i get a sound card installed programs etc. thank you

    Download this http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html open it and see if you have sound card and what make it is, if you have one type the make into your search box and look for drivers for it, download drivers. Alternatively right click my computer select hardware tab click on devices manager look at your sound and game controllers (click on the + sign) see the make of your sound card if you have a yellow question or exclamation mark you need a driver.

    Igf you have no yellow marks click on speaker in system tray (bottom right of desktop) see if mute box is checked if so uncheck it.
