    Hi:

I am trying to hook up a card reader that requires two Firewire 1394 header port connections. The motherboard has two header ports F1 1394 & F2 1394. F1 I can use, but the F2 header port is a different configuration that F1. Is there a way to use F2? Maybe some sort of converter cable?

I also purchased a Syba SD-Combo-02, PCI to USB/Firewire add on card, but the internal 1394 connection is a port and not a header port it a IEEE. If I can not use the motherboard's F2 header port, is there some sort of converter cable to go from header port to IEEE port?

I would really appreciate help getting this hooked up.

Please see the links below for detailed info on the hardware.

    Thanks,

    elizbeth
