    Hi, My Norton 2004 A.V. is finding "Spyware.Iwantsearch" on my computer but it fails to delete them. I have the latest and updated versions of Spybot S&D, Ad-aware SE, CWShredder, and Hijack This. I have ran all of them to no avail. I went to the website as symantec suggested and ran the uninstaller for Iwantsearch but its still there. One is showing up as follows;
    rundlg32.dll within compressed file on C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\APSJU5Q5\rundlg32[1].cab

All the others are located on C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\
My OS is Windows XP SP2. I have included the scan from Hijack This. Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.

Fix those things in HijackThis and then run this online virus scan.

After you're done restart and post a new log.

Thanks for your reply. I removed the file you mentioned. Panda said I am virus free, but Norton still finds those "Spyware.Iwantsearch" files. Here is a new Hijack This scan, any ideas? Thanks again.

Well, you can just manually delete in Safe Mode the files that Norton is finding.

OK, try this. Even if you have already enabled hidden files, perform these steps anyway.

Reconfigure Windows XP to show hidden files:
    Click Start. Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. Select the View Tab.

Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
Uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.

    Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.
To get back to normal mode just restart the computer as you normally would.

Delete everything in these folders but not the folders themselves:

    C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
    C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp
