    Hello Everyone,

I would like to have input as to what would be a good and reliable MP3 / Music Download site. Would like to find some rare and hard to locate titles... not just the new releases.

Thanks alot for your help :)

If you are looking for free ones you are out of luck. Most of the sites you will hit via google will be spyware and virus laden so stick with the pay ones like iTunes. I think MusicMatch is also offering a pay per song service.

Since I am blank slate on this Mp3 business...Help me out.... I searched for itunes... comes up.... everything Apple? Is this for us PC'ers as well? And what, if anything can speed up the download process... more RAM memory? At this rate, I can build a music portfolio for my great-grandkids if I had any. ;)

RSS is a way of pushing information to the end-user. It's useful for news updates.. A good RSS reader can be found here.. http://www.rssreader.com/

Bittorrent is a file sharing network which allows you to grab bits of files from multiple users at once to download the file of your choice. You can download a bittorrent client here. http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html

You then need to add a newsfeed for bittorrents so info on new files available on bittorrent can be sent to you. http://www.legaltorrents.com/

You can add any RSS or XML feed to your RSSreader by copying the link off the RSS or XML button and pasting it into your reader under "add news source" , then you will recieve automatic updates on whats available.

You can also download your missed TV shows this way. :) http://www.newsisfree.com/sources/bycat/77/
