    Hello Everyone,
I had purchased a bare bones computer off of yahoo auctions about 2 years ago. I upgraded it before it was sent to me, AMD processor 800mhz, 128mb of sd-ram, bios upgrade. I needed to install a HD, Floppy, Cd-rom, And an operating system. This unit has built in sound and video. Well recently i tried getting this computer to work. I get into the bios and it will not let me install any windows system. All i get is invalid system disk. Can anyone out there give me some hint's. Battery was low and i replaced it, But new battery say's it's low too, Is this possible? Please help. I cant find a name on the motherboard either.

Im assuming you installed your cdrom, and hd. What windows are you trying to install? If it is 98SE use the OEM boot disk that creates a virtual drive. You can download one at www.bootdisk.com
Run FDISK and partion your hard drive. set the newly created partion to active and then format. You can also try going into bios and set it to boot from the cdrom and use an OEM Windows CD(not an upgrade). and the cdrom will format the drive for you. (you may still have to use fdisk before booting to the cd, not sure)
