need help with battlefield 2142

ok heres the thing,
i have started playing bf2142 for a while and its been going great so far BUT now theres a problem....... when i join a game i cant move my mouse or do any thing with my keyboard, i know its not frozen as in the back ground i can see things moving around and the txt in the top lefthand side of the screan still moves and im realy pissed off with it now lol and i dont know what to do :confused:

can some help me plz !! and thank you

memory: 1024MB RAM
page file: 528MB used, 1929MB available
display driver: (main driver) ati2dvag.dll
ddi version: 9(or higher)

is there any thing elce i need to put up?

You connection might be dropping...objects will continue to move in the background even with no net connection.

Also, are you using a two computer Keyboard Video Monitor switch?
If so, perhaps you have set the KVM to take input from the second computer,
thereby ignoring your gaming rig.

no im not useing that
it was working fine untill a few days ago and i hadnt changed any settings on my coputer

ok..it sounds like a problem i was havin a while ago...sometimes bf drops control settings...u wil have to go into options and then go to controls and set them to default...that shud fix the problem

its a funny thing isnt it...made me feel a bit silly really when i discovered it:)
