Anyways we the computer we were previously using (along with the software) to view the cameras was stolen. have like 8 or so cameras connected to these netgear prosafe switches that are connected to the router.. Hello, welshiemer. Welcome to TSG.

Did any documentation and software discs come with the cameras and perhaps filed away somewhere? Otherwise, check the name(s) of the manufacturer(s) of the cameras and see if they have a website with downloadable viewing software. If may be free or your may have to pay for it.

You can try to run any network app that'll tell you which devices are on the local subnet. If it finds the cameras then try to connect to them with a browser. But, otherwise, it's as Chuck said. Get the documentation from the manufacturer and any app they may have to connect. Remember that they may be on a different network all together. So, you may have to reset to their default values. But that will all be in the documentation.
