I have a WINNT Server 4.0 SP6a machine that is losing the shared drive every time it is rebooted. The machine is running IIS and Sybase. It is behind a load balancer. Any help would be appreciated

Are shares that are lose on the server or shares it accesses?

How are the shares mapped? Which NT facility is used?

The share that is being lost is a drive on the server itself. The other server that accesses that drive, no longer can see it once it has been rebooted. It is just a normal shared drive, done right form the drive itself. IE Right click and enable sharing. It is not a hidden share. Is there a better way to share this drive?

    Thks Katrina

Check the WIN service and make sure all devices (servers and PCs) are using the correct WINs TCP/IP address. You can run IPCONFIG from a Command line to verify it for NT servers.
