I'm running Windows XP on my Macbook using BootCamp. I recently got a bad virus and decided to reinstall Windows XP. Everything seemed to work well until I tried to connect to the Internet. I have a wired broadband connection attached, and the Apple OS side connects to the Internet but when I switch over to the Windows side, it seems like to computer is rebooting because it's not holding the time either. Also, I'm getting no sound from the Windows OS when I run programs from my external hard drive. Shouldn't the driver have automatically installed or can I manually install the drivers for the sound card and NIC? Thanks in advance.

I'd ask for a forum move, by using the report thread option, and perhaps MAC users could help you better.

I would recommend deleteing your Windows partition and restoring your full hard drive with the Bootcamp Assistant. Then, use Bootcamp to normally install windows.

    Good luck.
