I thought I had gotten rid of some spyware that was roaming on my computer but apparently I haven't. Just recently my homepage address changed to some other website and I was getting various pop-ups. I checked out my processes to see if there was anything new that I didn't recognize. I did notice one process that was definitely not there before. It was "wowexec.exe" with a space in front. This one does not show up in the hijackthis log. I think there may be other bad processes too. Please check my log out and please help!

In Hijack This, check ALL of the following items. Double check so as to be sure not to miss a single one.
Next, close all browser Windows, and have HT fix all checked.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = about :blank
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.mytelus.com/home_page.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about :blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = http://www2.mybc.com/home_page.html
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /install
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe -osboot
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Find Fast.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\FINDFAST.EXE

O8 - Extra context menu item: Download with GetRight - C:\Program Files\GetRight\GRdownload.htm
O8 - Extra context menu item: Open with GetRight Browser - C:\Program Files\GetRight\GRbrowse.htm

These two do the same thing.

O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Office10\OSA.EXE
O4 - Global Startup: Office Startup.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OSA.EXE

Reboot into normal mode

Now download Spybot - Search & Destroy (if you haven't got the program installed already)

After installing, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.

Next, close all Internet Explorer windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove/fix all it finds that are in RED

Reboot

Last, run HJT again and post your log again to see if anything was missed.

Thanks
