    windows 98 os.

I would like to use my cell phone as an alarm clock. I thought I could use the Phone Dialer on my PC and the Scheduled Task program to schedule the Phone Dialer to call me every day at 6:00 AM. But the Phone Dialer just sits there waiting for me to click the Speed Dial button.

So then I tried to use the Scheduled Task and Internet Explorer. I created a Connections - Dial up setting with my cell phone number and selected "Always dial my default connection." But Internet Explorer just sits there displaying about blank and never dials my number.

Isn't there a way to automatically dial my cell phone every day at 6:00AM? How about a batch program using Hayes modem commands?

I don't know if ALL cells have an alarm - but you can just set the alarm to ring at a specific time. And it should also be able to play the same tune as when the phone rings. Wouldn't need a computer at all.
