Could someone please help me? I own a Dell computer with win98. ALWAYS worked perfect until I tried to install DSL from SBC. Many hours on the phone with their so called techs. One tech made me uninstall all games and then had me go into the registry and remove the cd rom. Long story short DSL NEVER worked. When I uninstalled that ROTTEN program from my computer it screwed up other things which I have been able to fix.

Could someone please give me point by point information on adding my cd rom back into the registry. Cd rom is ok.....not messed up......registry does not "see it" so it will not work. I have searched high and low but this is a very technical question that most people have no knowledge about. I am hoping one of you bright techies will help me.

Hoping to be able to use my Dell again.
    In very rural Texas.
    Thank you

Limping along now on a very old win95 with few resources.........please help me get my Dell working again.
