I need to print emails received in my Gmail account

Can someone recommend some programs to do this?

I've found some programs that do this now - searching on Google
Just wanted to know if there was any recommended programs?
Opensource would be great... but happy to pay if I have to

I asked this same question some time ago and didn't get any replies... I thought I'd try again

    Thanks

I think this is fairly easy to program. All you need to do is to connect to GMail via POP3, poll every few minutes for new mail, download the mail and print it for each new mail, then cycle again for any new mail. POP3 settings are available from:

If interested in producing such a program, let me know (use private mail).

It's easy to print from GMAIL, so I'm not sure what you're looking for.

    "Printing messages:
    To print one message:

Open the message you want to print.
Click the down arrow next to Reply, at the top-right of the message.
    Select Print.
    To print an entire conversation:

Open the conversation you want to print.
On the right side of the screen, click Print all."

    hugh, thanks for the reply
i don't think my orignal request was necessarily clear
i need gmail emails to be automatically printed as they come in

there are some 3rd party solutions i've seen that use pop3 or imap
what i would really like though is something that works directly with the gmail api
so when an email comes, it gets sent to the printer almost instantly - instead of relying on polling every x minutes

i'll probably go for one of the 3rd party software as i haven't found anything else

    thanks

Just curious: I seldom print anything at all, so why would you want to print emails?

it's for an order system for a shop
they need to have printed emails of orders :)

to be honest, the real winner for me would be an android phone with the same capability: as soon as orders came in via emails on a gmail account, they get printed to a printer - so no need for a pc
