I have a HP 246 Notebook laptop (Government provided ). It's been 3 years since i got the laptop and had 2 operating systems in the laptop. Windows 8 and BOSS OS. Unfortunately, i forgot the password of windows 8 system which i was using. Then i had to use BOSS OS system for my work. But now i need windows, i think windows 10 would be good. So, i downloaded the windows 10 OS in my pendrive. But i don't exactly know how to install windows 10 through LINUX BOSS OS in my laptop.
I tried to make my pendrive bootable by trying to installing RUFUS software through BOSS OS but it cannot be installed.
I don't know how to install windows OS in my laptop which currently contains BOSS OS. Please guide me through it.

I don't think that BOSS OS will be able to help you with windows installation. As you have already made the pendrive bootable just insert it in one of the USB hub, go to the bios change boot order to boot from pendrive and then install it using the normal procedures. It is simple. :) :)

I was not aware of BOSS yet. It seems quite popular tough, IIT, CIT and JNTU all are using it, it seems. Thanks for the info :) (y)(y)
