I need to know how to log into a remote computer with a user name and password on a peer-to-peer network so I can run a batch and then log off the same way.

I know it can be done; but, I don't know how.

A simple way of doing this is to put the job in schedule of the remote computer. Especially if this batch jobs need to run often.

For security reasons, this is not the best option. Also, I don't want to have to go to the other computer to see if it has run or to occasionally watch it run to be sure it is performing without incident.

The job could send you emails/message on error or completion or write a log to a network location. Anyway I have vbsript that will start calc.exe on a remote computer It could be modified to start anything... interested?
