My laptop has for the last couple of weeks been very slow to start up. When it eventually does and I run programs they all stop responding and freeze. Even the start button. I have done several virus worms and trojan scans online, thinking i had a virus or adware etc but they all found nothing. Its XP and most of the 3o gb hard drive is unused.Do you think I might need to reinstall windows xp to get it working again? I haven't deleted any files that windows xp needs to work though.
