I am getting a negative effect on any picture i get on my computer. Either emailed, uploaded, downloaded etc. I currently am running windows 95, my computer is set at 32 bit color ( changed from 256( no effect on anything)). My desktop folders also have the negative effect. Can someone please help. Is this a resolution problem? Can this be fixed in safe mode? Dis i change the display to something it should not be at? help please. I have been trying to fix this for weeks.:(

    Is this perchance a Laptop?

"The negative effect" I assume you mean the colors are backwards, white is black, green is purple, etc, etc

If this is the case there should be a strange key on your keyboard that looks like a white A and a black A. Usually you hit the function key then hit the other reverse key to change the colors around.

Otherwise... you will need to find your video card settings and mess around with the gamma section majorly.

    Cheers

    Ryan,
I do not have a black and white or any other funky looking key on the keyboard. My computer is a desktop. But I will go and try and find my video card settings. Thank you and I will let you know.:)
