    Hi there, I am completely new to NetBeans (IDE 6.8) and coding itself, and when I hit "Build Main Project" I get this error:

    This is the part of my code that has the error in it:

    PHP:
    } else if (splitted[0].equals("@fm")) {

    player.changeMap(9100000000)
    }
    I've Googled it and the only solution I've found is to check the curly braces and make sure they match up, but I cannot for the life of me see what's wrong with it. I've tried fiddling with the curly braces but it hasn't helped. Also, I believe the code is supposed to be like this(?):

    PHP:
    } else if (splitted[0].equals("@fm")) {

    player.changeMap(9100000000);
    }
    But when I have it like that, it gives me two errors rather than one.

    The first error looks like this:

    The second error looks like this:

    If any more information is needed, let me know. Also, my apologies if this post is all over the place. But yeah, if there's any editors out there that could help me out, it'd be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    I'm just taking a guess here. The error makes me want to say it's flagging out at the call to player.changeMap(). Are you sure you're sending the right arguments? Does the method calling player.changeMap have access to the player object and the changeMap method?

    Thank you very much for the reply. Although I no longer need to use this thread, if someone could please close it, it'd be much appreciated.
