I got new internet last Thursday. It is fiber optic through VTX1. I am running windows 7. I can connect to the internet just fine directly but when I try the netgear it tells me No Internet Connection. When I go through the setup process it tells me No Ethernet Cable is Plugged Into The Router Internet Port. When I hook up my very old Cisco router the internet and Wi-fi work just fine. I have no idea what the problem is. I have updated the drivers and have windows firewall off.

This is it plugged directly in:

And what's the difference between those two?
Your wireless and wired adapters connected to different networks (probably devices).
Disable wireless on your PC, reset N600 and try again.

More importantly, where is the Ethernet cord going to from this computer? because if the cord is going to the modem then the router was right...

it tells me No Ethernet Cable is Plugged Into The Router Internet Port.

The IP addresses tells me you are connecting to two different devices.
    What modem do you have?
