Netgear wireless router Vista compatibility issues?

Hey, maybe you folks can help me with this.

My girlfriend's computer keeps losing the connection to our Netgear WPN824 wireless router ("RangeMax," so called). The comp will disconnect from the network and be unable to reconnect for a short while. By contrast, my laptop running XP has never had any connectivity issues whatsoever. I'm not so familiar with Vista so I can't help her with her problem-- if, in fact, it's the OS that's the problem at all.

Here's her ipconfig:

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6000]

In that ipconfig /all the wireless did not have an IP assigned by the router's Dhcp server. But, it does successfully connect at least sometimes?

Many wireless problems with Vista are driver issues, so the first thing to do is to make sure she has the latest wireless driver from the PC manufacturer's web site.
