When using netscape is there a way to set it to use an e-mail address other than the ones supplied by netscape such as one from bell south. This is for a good friend and I would very much like to help him out. Hope you can help.

    Thanks
    Bill:confused:

You can set the email client to use any pop email account. I am on Bellsouth, and I know it can be setup in Netscape.

    http://home.bellsouth.net/scripts/staticpage.dll?spage=memberservices/18.htm&only=y&ck=&ver=3.0

Instructions on how to setup for bellsouth. One thing I noticed with that page is that the mail server name is wrong. Go here to get the correct mail server name

    https://www5.bellsouth.net/AILogin.shtml

Your friend will need thier user name and password to login. After logging in, go to dial in sites. Select the city and get info. This will give you the settings for the mail servers.

Thanks for the info and web sites. Will forward the info to a mutual friend who is computer literate and I am sure they will get it going. Thanks again.
