    Hi all,

I hope this is the right place to post this question! Were running NetShield on Win 2000 server but it keeps disabling itself, I think it is to do with the error:

    Source: McLogEvent Event ID: 5051

    A thread in process C:\Program Files\Network Associates\NetShield 2000\Mcshield.exe took longer than 30000 ms to complete a request.
The process will be terminated. Thread id : 3372 (0xd2c)

    This is from event viewer.

Ive tried reinstalling but to no avail.

    Thanks

Try reposting in the security forum, your likely to get a response from there, Im not aquainted with netshield which I think is an anti-virus program, but if you want one of the best available and its free go here http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php
