    Hey Guys!

I just purchased (or actually built) a new PC with the help of a friend. It's all very nice, except I can't connect to the internet. When I run Windows Diagnostics it says I should install a driver. I just don't know which one. I've tried like 23 different driver installers, neither worked, so that's why I'm here now. Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks: lmg93

Go to Control Panel > Device Manager . See what it shows under network adapters.

You'll need to go online and download all the applicable drivers for the motherboard. Not just the one for the Network card (Nic)

There also is an order the drivers need to be installed in. Actually there's arguments on the correct order. But most important is the Chipset driver. Then, if the devices are integrated on the board, I normally do Video, Nic, Sound, in that order.

The drivers will be on a disc that is included with the motherboard

Yes, yes they will. However it's always better to download, if possible, the latest drivers from the manufacturer's Website.
