i have an asus p2 99 motherboard and i am having trouble getting my broadband setup...i installed the network card and its recognized correctly and the light is on so i assume its working fine...however when i configure the network settings i get no response...i try the exact same settings on another box of similar specs but it works fine...i'm wondering if there is an issue with network cards on the p2 99 mb's....i tried an isa network card too but same problem..thanks

Is the card a 10/100? If so try changing the speed to 10 mps half duplex, sometimes they won't work at the higher speed for whatever reason, being the cable modem really won't use more than 10mps it won't make any difference on internet speed.
