two Desktop PCs running XP in big historic house with plaster directly on thick brick walls. No Cable access. No DSL access. Using Sprint Mobile broadband USB modem for internet connection and Belkin Wireless G NIC cards on PCs to a midpoint Belkin wireless G Router It is a kind of switch. Nothing works. Trying to automatically make connection using the router as a switch? and PC with Sprint hookup as the router? Network settings are a mystery. Windows can't configure the network maybe because it can not get a network address. I sometimes see "Limited or No Connectivity" alert.

    schematic is:
    sprint-----usb cable--- PC1 ---wireless----router ----wireless----PC2

    Using Belkin G wireless equipement
