Network dropping

    i have been getting disconnected from my internet since yesterday i have re installed my network drivers and still no fix its only disconnecting my pc

    Have you reset your modem?

    Are you sure that it is the network and not the modem connection?

    yh i have reset it a dozen times nothing else is dropping only my pc

    like anything else i have connected to my router like my xbox my phone and laptop

    yh but it drops on wired and wireless which is weird

    i dont get an error message it just drops out i have tried reinstalling drivers but to no avail

    If it drops when wired to the router then do two things: try a different ethernet cable and connect you PC to a different port on the router (ports do go bad).

    You should power cycle the modem and router. First power off the router, then power off the modem. Swap the router port.
    Power up the modem first and when all the lights are properly displayed, power up the router.
