I've been using Ethereal to scan my network.

I've got a couple questions as to what I am looking at.

    1. Can someone explain the process of IGMP.MCAST.NET and why it sends data to 224.0.0.22 instead of 192.168.1.1 If i ping 224.0.0.22 it times out.

    2. What is a "workstation redirector"? and what is it's purpose.

I've tried doing searches but have come up with nothing.

All computers are versions of Windows.
Peer to peer network (no centeral server)
No firewalls. Only hubs (no switches) and use DSL modem for interent access.
