    I have a small network
My xp machine serves as a print server.
There are 3 win98 machines networked together with it.
All of a sudden the 98 are no longer able to use the networked printer.
    I get the message:
User Intervention required. Use printer offline.
    Printer no longer available.
This printer will be set to work offline.

The printer still workes from the attached xp machine.
Can you tell me what happened and how to fix this?

If it is an HP printer and you added the printer using the driver files from the XP workstation you may have to download new 98 and XP printer files from XP.
Fixed the mindless communication from XP about printer status to my 98 machines.

Ya and mine was working for about 2 months until I started messing with the protocols on the XP machine. When I changed it back the problem started.
