We have 3 computers (two with Win98 & 1 with Win2K) and just purchased a 4th unit (Gateway Pen4 2gig) with Windows 2000. We have all hocked up to a network but the new system will not share with the other Win98 computers. From the new system we can see all the other computers so the network is fine, and the other Win2K can share with the new computer as well but not the Win98's. Instead of asking for a logon and password like the Win2K unit the Win98's get a "Enter Network Password" window that has a Resource:\\PC$ and asks for a Password. We have set up everything under the sharing with the new computer but the 98's cannot get past the "Enter Network Password" window.

Can anyone help,,, Please

Actually, I believe that it's step 4 he needs too. :) I see he's attempting to use the admin share, so he needs to share a resource on the W2K machine, AND establish the proper user/password on the W2K machine. I suspect all will be well at that point. :)
