network USB to RJ45

    My first time. Hello... I think I have a simple question for now. I have DIRECWAY satellite dish with the reciever. I want to network to another floor but the DW dish uses a USB and the rounter uses RJ45...Is there such a thing to convert the usb? Thanks

    The simple answer is no. There is no easy way to connect a USB modem to anything but a PC. You could put a cheap PC in as a gateway and allow it to manage the network. I suggest Smoothwal, an excellent Linux based system that is turnkey and requires no Linux knowledge to setup and use.
