I have Win XP Svs Pack 3, IE 8, 2 gig RAM,

I am having probles with accessing the Internet using IE 8. What is weird is that the Network does allow my computer to download and install all Windows XP updates since I have t set o automatically download and intall updates.

So, I assum my motherboard Netword adapter is working correctly. However, everytime I try to access a Web page in Internet Explorer 8, it comes back with a message of being unable to open web page.

How do I uninstall IE8 and revert back to an earlier version?

I tried to attach a Wireless Netgear PCI Adapter to my system....and it shows that it is connected correctly.....but the same problem occurs, I can not access and activate any Web page from my IE 8....

    Any suggestions???

Try running malwarebytes. You probably have a browser hijacker.
