Here at work i have 10 pc's and one file server(contains company software). All pc's have access to both the internet and the file server. Everything has worked great until yesterday. One the pc's quit getting on the internet. Both firefox and ie can not find google. I was told by the user that the internet seemed to go on and off for a hour or so then nothing.

The weird thing is that via that computer i can still access all the files on the file server, run programs of the file server and ping all pc's on the network. But still no internet access on that computer only. All of the other computers have internet access and work just fine. I released and renew the ip, pinged the nic card, everything looks good. The only thing that was added to this particualr computer is firefox did an update yesterday but afterward everything workd fine?? Any suggestions??

Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt:

    Type the following command:

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
