I have 2 Win 98 2nd edition machines in the house. I am sharing a cable internet connection between them via a hub but I would also like to share the printer on the main machine with the one the kids have. Any ideas on the best way to make these machines see each other?

Try enabling file and print sharing in the network-neighborhood properties. Then go into your printer's and right click on the printer and select sharing and create the share.
