    Hi All

Hope you can help. I have a ax515w printer which i am trying to connect so all people on my home network can use it including my wifes laptop. I installed the software on my pc (xp) and on her laptop (win7) and it all seems to print ok. Thats untill i turn off my pc and then the laptop cant see the printer. I have tried to connect it to the router and that sees it but no body can print at all. If you have any thoughts on this it would be appreciated.

    Thanks nick

    Hi

My internet comes via cable to the modem which is connected to a dlink dir-615. The computer is connected to this. the printer is connected to the main pc and the laptop connects to that via wireless. When the main pc is off the printer will not print frm the laptop. I have tried connecting the printer to the router which it can see but still to no avail. hope you can help

    Thanks nick

In this configuration the "main pc" acts a print server. So, of course, "When the main pc is off the printer will not print frm the laptop."

Details, please. :) You've tried connecting by ethernet or wireless? Using dynamic addressing or a static IP configuration? Have you failed in the connection attempt, or do you mean that you succeeded in connecting the printer to the router but are having difficulty printing to it?

Next is to try to install on one of your computers the network printer. How does the printer user manual say to do that?
