networking an XP and two WinME comps

    im trying to get my new XP to network with my older WinME comps. specifically, i tried to install the verizon software for my XP, but i get an error message saying that there was no ethernet adapter to be found. how can i set up this adapter in WinXP??

    you should be able to create a floppy disc that will sort your
    problems using XP's networking wizard. that will enable you to
    sort the networking problems that you have.....
