Hey guys! New to the forum and I've got a birthday coming up so I need some advice. I would like a piece of networking hardware that meets this criteria: In order of importance
    A) Acts as an access point
B)Allows me to connect to my wireless network on a separate floor though an ethernet port
    C) is >$100
Any input would be greatly appreciated

Well, for (A) you could get any wireless router or wireless access point.

For (B), if I understand correctly, you could get an "ethernet converter" or a wireless router or wireless access point that also supports wireless bridge (or AP client) mode.

Usually I'd expect to find a wireless router or wireless access point with the (B) capability for around $50 to $80, but here is an example that meets your (C) criteria.
