Okay. I have two computers in different rooms. Each has a regular modem but i can only use on at a time and then i cant recieve phone calls. i am trying to understand this network stuff. i bought a Symphony cordless networking. It came with a cd, plug and play card, and an antenne looking thing. Do i put this in one computer and they will hook up or do i need one for each computer? I am thinking you in advance for any information you can give me. THANK YOU

If all you have is one ISA card with the antenna, you will need a second one for the other machine and you will need a wireless router to hook them together

    The above is Symphony's website

PS> they do not make these cards any longer so, if you can find the additional equipment needed, get it now.

If you network the computers and configure everything correctly, it's possible for both computers to use the internet at the same time, but you still will not be able to receive phone calls. Your computers will still be using the phone line to connect to the internet.
