Networking my Printer

    hey i have two computers in my house. one has a printer attached to it. it is connefted through the internet via a wireless connection. i ran the micrsoft connection wizard and sharead the printer or whatever and on my tther pc i triued adding the printer so that i can print from it through my network or whatever. so i need to know why it doesnt appear in the list because for some reason it is not appearing in the list any ideas why.

    Let's start with terminology: The printer is in no way networked; the computer is.

    Start by sharing the printer from the printers folder. On the computer without the printer, find the computer (not the printer) that the printer is attached to. If the printer is shared correctly, you will see the printer when you double-click on the computer in Network Neighborhood/Network/My Network Places.

    Right-click on the printer and select Connect.

    That's it. That printer will now appear in the printers folder that does not have a printer and you can print to it as if it was local.
