    Hello,

Do you have advice concerning linking two computers by USB ports?

We may be able to utilize a Linksys Wireless G router. A simpler solution would be preferred with a cable and a box.

Is there any way to use a network hub? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

"Do you have advice concerning linking two computers by USB ports?"

    a. Don't.
    b. If you do, make sure you have the correct cable because an incorrect cable can cause physical harm to one or both computers.

"Is there any way to use a network hub?"

Yes; connect each computer to the hub. A switch is preferable. A router is far preferable and results in a network that is easier to use.

I completely agree. If you have to network from computer to computer an ethernet crossover cable is probably the easiest way.
