networking with a modem

    i have very old comp. it does'nt even have a USB all it has is a modem and i want to comect it with my new PC the old one has win 95 and the new one has winME. i would like to set them up so my kid can access games on the old one off the new oneif thats possible any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

    How do you connect to the internet? dsl, cable, dial up?

    Unless you have the source files on the old PC networking them together will not allow you to run these applications from the new PC.

    the old pc was hooked up to the internet with dial up but is no longer and what do you mean by source files?

    You can pick up a couple of $15 NIC cards and a network crossover cable to network them, assuming that the old PC has a free PCI bus slot.
