I just put together a new computer :
600W PSU
Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz
OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
EVGA 141-BL-E757-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX X58 SLI LE Intel Motherboard
EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260
Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB
Everything seemed to be in working order except I get bsod with the following error
BCCode : 3b BCP1 : 00000000C0000096 BCP2 : FFFFFADF588FFAB7
BCP3 : FFFFFADF58D30080 BCP4 : 0000000000000000 OSVer : 5_2_3790
SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER71b5.dir00\M ini081309-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER71b5.dir00\s ysdata.xml
I read the minidump and found this.
*** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for disk.sys
Could not read faulting driver name
*** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for PartMgr.sys
*** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for fltmgr.sys
Probably caused by : disk.sys ( disk!memmove+60 )
Not sure where to go from here. Im guessing its something with ram?
If i log into world of warcraft i get 3 fps which i assume is linked to this.
I would appreciate any help I can get.
Edit : Forgot to put cpu in spec.
