We have a new Dell in bound and I would like to know if it makes sense to partition the new hard drive before we install any new programs. As I understand it, at least in XP Home, it's a good idea to install apps on c: and have any temp files that the apps create ( as from burning Cds etc..) be directed to a partition. This keeps the OS part of the hard drive from getting cluttered. Any thoughts? The new system will be Vista Home Premium. Thanks for your time.
