New computer with vista is laggy..HELP!!

So i had everything working amazing, but then my hard drive crashed, so i got a new hard drive and had to re-install vista, so i did that installed all the drivers etc...now vista is somewhat laggy, programs keep not responding...its not behaving like a new comp should... and my internet is fast once im connected to a web page. its just the connecting that takes a while..and i try the same pages on my macbook under the same internet and its fast. the internet and everything works amazing in safemode. So that means its software related. I ran a hijack this...
