I have put in a new HD for my com. It works, but it changes C: to it and unassigns a letter to my old one, with OS.

I have configured jumpers and formated it and everything...

    Can you describe:

    What operating system? Windows? Version?

What have you set the jumpers to, new drive and old drive?

How is the drive connected? IDE? SATA? USB?

Its an IDE Drive, Ive tried a number of them with same result all with jumpers set to: OS Drive-Master and BIOS Boot 1 and New one as slave. With Windws NT it boots to the thing with the blue screen with win loading and then says Boot_devise_unacessable. Windows NT Server 4 SP6a is on the OS Drive (old one) but has no letter. So it boots Win but cannot go any thurther.
