I haven't been here for a long time but since we've all read so much about eddies adventures at his old job, I thought I'd pop in to say congratulations to eddie on landing himself a new job. I'm sure he'll pop in to tell us all about his new job. You will, won't you eddie?

    Thanks for posting, Pat :)

Yep, I now have a brand new job. As you all know, I'd been looking for years for a new job, and 4 interviews later at various places, this one grabbed me.

Its a great company, as its a CRO - Contract Research Company. Can't say too much about it, as security is very tight, but lets just say that my prospects are a lot better now.

I gained a payrise and a higher job title - in fact, the higher title that my previous boss said I could never get

I'll be saying stuff in my soapbox thread, but it won't be as racy as the other company, as this one is miles better. Howwever, my daily (or monthly) grind will be there instead.

Also, its about 20 miles away, which is 4 times further than my old company, but its a nice drive in the country, so loving it. Except for last Monday with the floods, took me nearly 4 hours to get home 9normally about an hour).

    Very well :)

In fact, can't actually say what we do, as in the work itself, but have a few funny things etc to post to the old Soapbox thread. Will post them tonight ;)

Very happy in it as well, a lot more happier working than my old place. Just been busy lately at home due to family problems, but coming back to TSG now.....with a vengance :D

Got loads to catch up on.

Oh, and the company has no internet, which is amazing how much work you end up doing. My old company should have that policy, then they'll know what work really is :p

Still going well, and enjoying it a lot...big time. In fact, a lot calmer as well, as the major stress isn't there.

Its wierd. When I was at my other job, 10 mins before going home, I was chomping at the bit, ready to leg it as soon as it hit that time. At this one, I don't mind if I'm staying over. Not a lot over, just 20 or so mins, as I'm really enjoying what I do :)
