    Hi everyone:

I have a new Sony Vaio notebook, and I've installed Norton Internet Security on (was on last machine too). However, it seems that I'm constantly having to clear out cookies out of the cookie folder, cookies from fastclick and so on, obviously those shouldn't be there.

I ran hijackthis and couldn't make heads or tails of what's there, so... I guess I'll just post it below. Totally perplexed at why I'm getting so many of these ad cookies, etc. dumped on my machine all that time.

Also, I noticed a LOT of AOL stuff on the log file, but I don't use AOL or even use AOL Messenger.

I couldn't get into safe mode (xp pro), and the other scans wouldn't finish. The only log I have is from the panda software site, and that scan didn't appear to finish. Also, there wasn't an option to clean the fastclick off my system. And now there's "adclick.com" cookies on my system as well.

fastclick seems to be the problem....

    Incident Status Location

    Spyware:Cookie/FastClick Not disinfected C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\t91971eb.default\cookies.txt[.fastclick.net/]
