Nice little set of USB powered speakers, used for a long time, won't work with new laptop. Explored many different options online, nothing works. Many instructions refer to stuff not there. ("right click on the speaker icon on the bottom right, go to playback devices." No such option. "Go to realtek audio manager." No such option. Etc. Etc.) They are plugged in, light comes on, laptop sound works, just won't play through the speakers. Help? Note: speakers have USB plug in, plus audio cable. Also, I never see the pop-up I used to on my old laptop that would tell me I plugged something in. Also researched that, no luck. Help?

No one responded anyway, but this is SOLVED. Turns out there was a little up arrow when right-clicking the speaker icon, leads to selecting "headphones." Done.
