Hi There,:)

I am getting ready to install some new memory on a PC. My wish is to rid the computer of unwanted programs before I do so, so that the new memory will not automatically be bogged down by them. Will a parital f-disk accomplish this, or is there another way to save only the information I wish to save prior to installing the new memory?

Thank you much!

well, you could always do the quick fix and burn your info to a CD/DVD.... or flash drive... or put it on someone else's hard drive via dual-boot or networking...
otherwise I've got nothing.

Those are good ideas. Thanks! Unfortunately, the burning method will not work as the PC is too archaic to have that function. Likewise with the other two good ideas that you had. Does anybody else have any idea how to get this accomplished? Thanks again.
