I just installed Roxio Platinum 5 and I get the BSOD after rebooting. I am using Win98SE and I have tried this 3 times and each time I get the same message as follows:
The 32 bit device driver CDRPWD(01)+0000AD23 has attempted to use a system service which in not loaded. It my be possible to continue normally.
    * Press any key to attempt to continue.
    * Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to attempt to restart your computer.
You will loose any unsaved information in all applications.
 and I know you have been "here" before but I have tried the above but without any success. I can ONLY turn off the PC by using the power switch and then scan disk runs but then I keep getting the BSOD. No errors are reported by Scan Disk.
Anything I can do to get windows to boot so I can continue? I surely hope help is out there. I certainly don't mind uninstalling Roxio but I can't even do that!! And as always, TIA.

Hey Candy!! Haven't seen you much lately. Thank you so much for your prompt offer to help.
I was returning here to tell everyone that I was able to get into Safe Mode and I removed that rascal in the Control Panel.
I may reinstall later---and then again, I may not. :D
