Well, just when you think it's working great (and it is, I must say thanks again for everyone's help) but when I go to shut off my computer, I have windows that say:

Explorer has caused error in <unknown>

then a pattern, close the box and the next is the same only Ddhlelp caused the error, then Rnaapp

Then there was a power meter error and it froze up.

What can I do for that?

It may not be a "security" problem, and in any case you should always post a current Scanlog when asking for help with that kind of issue. With this post we don't even know your operating system unless we have been following your other problems.

ddhelp is a "direct draw" DirectX file. It's possible you are having Video driver problems and they may need to be reinstalled.

But to rule out anything in the "Startup" profile, try a "clean boot" following directions here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q267288

If no error with the "clean boot", then you have to selectively troubleshoot to isolate the problem.

Also you can test the Display drivers by using the option to load a Standard VGA driver by selecting the Advanced tab in msconfig and then check the option to load VGA drivers. This will have to be unchecked to return to normal.
